Reviews Summary

Diners rave about the melt-in-your-mouth A5 Wagyu beef, calling it the best food experienced in Japan. The cozy atmosphere and English-speaking staff enhance the dining experience. While most praise the quality and service, some find the high-end dishes expensive for what they are. The seafood platter is noted as a less impressive option.

"It was a good way to discover wagyu and how fatty it really is.
It is good but eating too much wagyu doesn't feel right. It should be better to balance it with less fatty meats, vegetables and rice for instance.

I rate this a 4 in cuisine not because it's bad just because I had somehow to avoid putting the maximum score : I think it is way too expensive for what it is really.
And I couldn't do anything about the rating of : quality of service and ambiance be cause I personally loved it.

If you traveled around Japan you can see that you can eat better with 15 euros than in some restaurants in Europe for 35.

It is different dishes of course, and I understand after some time wherever you are, you just want to eat something else at some point.
But they value quality ingredients and good service even more.
The food is not expensive. You can eat really good for 2000 yens at some local restaurants.

With what I ordered there, it skyrocketed to + 10000 yens.
Surprisingly I would have appreciated the wagyu beef better if I had less and more of other dishes like red meat to compare it at the same time.

With the choice I made I really paid the price.

I'm not blaming the restaurant.
I rate is as 5 out 5 overall.
The only thing is the high price if you would like to try some of the star dishes on their menu be prepared.
After all of what we hear about wagyu beef, curiosity does a great job.

Also I went alone, and I firmly believe this place is way more enjoyable when you can order big plates and different meals and share it with everyone around a table."

"I had a wonderful quiet evening here at this little restaurant with my husband. We didn't have a reservation but came during the week in the off season and they sat us down after taking our shoes off with no problems. The staff spoke English and were able to explain the dishes and menu to us. We ordered one of the larger set meals that included kobe and wagyu and it was enough for the both of us. Quality was excellent and satisfying. Would recommend it!"

"It’s good that they close late…🥹🥹🥹Reasonable price, beef was ok, more on an oily side but the beef taste isn’t that strong.
I think quite honest shop as we ordered rice before hand then we order another beef set which rice was included, they came and told us that they will help us cancel the rice we ordered before. They have staff that can speak English which was very easy to communicate."
