What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hoto Fudo is celebrated for its unique dome-shaped architecture and its signature Hoto noodles, a hearty dish praised for its rich miso broth and generous portions, making it a satisfying meal, especially in colder weather. However, some diners have experienced long queues and inconsistent service, with a few noting a lack of friendliness from staff during busy periods.
"Dome shaped building, unique style.
Delicious, hot hoto. Very large portion. Recommend for vegetarians too.
Very noisy during rush hours, but not bad atmosphere. Good enough space for large groups too."

"Came here for fuji view but didn't get to see. Long queue but didn't take long to get a seat. Tried horse sashimi for the 1st time, it is ice cold with some icy feeling in the mid when chewed (not sure was it suppose to be like this till tried in tokyo then realised it wasn't in tokyo). The pork with mushroom was nice and hot but pretty small potion. The hoto noodles was good for cold weather but wasn't the best I ate in Fuji area. Service was good and fast."

"I visited the restaurant around 10:45 AM on Tuesday. We were the first in line. The restaurant has a spacious interior with a distinctive cloud-shaped decor. The huto noodles and pork were particularly enjoyable. Our food was served promptly, within 5-10 minutes of ordering."
