The food and drinks were really good!! No complaints. A little disappointed we stumbled in here on our last day… I’d definitely revisit."

"One of my favorite spots in Trancoso! Jacaré do Brasil is beautifully located right above the lively artist market, where festive tables showcase local art and jewelry. The space itself is tropical, breezy, and inviting—perfect for a relaxed yet memorable evening.
We started with the crispy filo squares stuffed with warm, melty cheese—absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the steak with risotto, a perfectly balanced mushroom risotto, and a hearty homemade pasta with ragu sauce. Every dish was flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully plated.
The service was warm and attentive, and the overall experience left us stuffed and smiling. A must-visit when in Trancoso.
