At Tre Marchetti, it’s not unusual to have Matteo (the founder Roberto’s son) spontaneously perform an aria or to find yourself sharing the dining room with Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Zubin Mehta, Bruce Springsteen or one of the many other artists who have performed just steps away in the 2,000-year-old Arena.

We are in the historic center and we are in a gastronomic salon where hospitality blends with culinary excellence. There's cotechino with pearà, bigoli with courtyard ragu, gnocchi stuffed with Monte Veronese with butter and black truffle, and baccalà alla veneta. The carefully selected wine list chronicles the region's most prestigious terroirs, offering diners a journey through the best labels.

Above all this is where tourists get tricked with the name, as it says Bread and wine, but this offers you an awesome menu with tasty meals. This is said to be open since 2000 and also gives you the opportunity to try the homemade fresh bread and also their extensive wine selection. The first wine we tried when we arrived was the Amarone wine.

In the cellar, an imposing selection starting from the local area and extending to the rest of the Peninsula, with the welcome addition of a substantial choice by the glass. The menu is dominated by Veronese tradition.
