"As the American daughter of a Roman man (who is an excellent cook), I have been eating excellent Italian/Roman dishes all of my life. When in Italy, it's hard to find a bad meal, however, near tourist attractions, not so hard.
When having to choose the restaurants, I have a bit of anxiety because if my father doesn't approve of his meal, I won't hear the end of it. Needless to say, I chose this restaurant at the last second and it was AMAZING!
We started with fried zucchini flowers and fried mozzarella balls (no photos) which came atop crispy French fries which was an EXCELLENT start!
We ordered for mains: cannellone, fried baccalà, seafood salad, amatriciana pasta and carbonara pasta. Everything that came out was DELICIOUS and made to PERFECTION.
For dessert we had lemon sorbet, prepared by the chef and it was the PERFECT ending to a PERFECT lunch on a 100 degree day in Tivoli!"
