"We traveled to Italy for two weeks with children in June/July 2024. That being said, we had gelato pretty much daily. This Gelateria was close to our hotel and one of our tour guides pointed it out to us. We were able to enjoy it on a couple of occasions. It was not crowded and had great selections. And of course... everything we tried tasted delicious. The only bad part is that we only had gelato, they had many other pastries that I wish we tried. We were also able to watch them making pastries. If we are ever in Taormina again we will definitely go here and try more than just the gelato. If you are ever there... don't miss the oppurtunity to check it out."

"Got two gluten free cannolis to try and was blown away - they were HUGE! For €4 each, I thought it was a steal. It’s not listed on the dessert case that I could see, but when I asked for the gluten free cannolis they made them fresh. This photo doesn’t really do them justice"

Pasticceria Gelateria D’Amore is a place that I have a lot of fondness for. I visited it many times during a week’s stay in Taormina in August 2008. I came to this confectionery because I passed her every day going from my Hotel Condor to the city center.
Things to do in Taormina
The best pasticceria in town, there are tons of cookies and pastries to try and they even have gluten free local cookies in four flavours. They are so delicious I had them everyday, my favourite was lemon or orange. Even better is their gelato!

Pasticceria D’Amore is also not to be missed, as well as for the excellent products, for the picturesque and quaint look with the Sicilian pupi -puppets – greeting you from the shop windows and colorful ceramics.
