"This restaurant was recommended by our apartment host. Wow fantastic sea food. Set off the main road near harbour which was ideal as a little quieter. Lovely friendly warm staff who made the experience special. Explained the various dishes and special and clearly passionate about the food. We had tuna tartare which was melt in the mouth and served with lemon pearls. Two of us shared the octopus special cooked over charcoal with smoked potatoes. Best octopus I’ve ever had! Our daughter had a choice of how her tuna steak was cooked and had it rare. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. Great service too. So good we’re going back tomorrow. If you’re looking for a seafood restaurant you won’t be disappointed!"

"A refined fish-focused restaurant with excellent service. We had grilled tuna, shrimp tagliatelle, and a pear ricotta cake to finish. Don't ask for the tuna to grilled well or they will give a slightly cute but still shocked reaction; just ask for medium. Everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented. Prices are slightly higher than average pizza/pasta spots in Syracuse, but very fair for a proper dinner. Perfect for a special meal in Ortigia."
