Reviews Summary

Porta Marina Seafood is highly praised for its incredibly fresh and delicious seafood, served with warm and friendly family-style service. Diners rave about the stunning waterfront views and the overall authentic Italian dining experience. While generally excellent, some may encounter wait times during peak periods, but most agree it's well worth the anticipation.

"This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, the staff were so friendly and gave great advice and the food was so fresh and delicious. We watched them fishing as we ate.

We had the scallops to start and they were so fresh and tender. I think had the catch of the day sword fish and it was the best I’d ever had. I had the grilled vegetables and I was so impressed with the quality of these and highly recommend this as a side!!

There was no parking and you couldn’t reserve, we went at 6pm and had no issue getting seated but a lot of big groups turned up at 7pm and had to wait."

"During our stay in Sorrento, we were looking to enjoy some seafood by the sea and found this restaurant. We really enjoyed both the view and the food.
The vegetables were served cold - which wasn’t my favorite - but they still tasted very good. The fries were excellent: crispy and tasty. The fish and seafood were mostly very good as well.
All in all, a solid choice for a nice meal by the sea in Sorrento. 🦐"

Sir Thecos

"Porta Marina Seafood is a great spot for fresh fish and seafood. The place is small, cozy, and has a really relaxed vibe, with food that never disappoints. We ordered several dishes and every single one was excellent – full of flavor and freshness. The staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. This is my favorite seafood place – every time I visit my family in Italy, I make sure to come back here."
