What takes precedence over the food and the service here is the location. If you know anything about Sorrento, you know that it’s famous for its lemons. This is a place where you can lunch or dine in the presence of lemon trees.

Definitely have a cocktail at the rooftop bar of the Favorita Hotel. On the way to the lift is the beautiful lounge area but it gets even better at the top. We enjoyed a lovely strawberry dacquiri taking in the beautiful views.

One of the best (and most aesthetically pleasing) hidden gems in Sorrento is o Parrucchiano La Favorita. It offers a truly unique dining experience under a large lemon grove filled with fresh fruits and flowers.

In Sorrento, we liked Parrucchiano and loved, small, family owned, Chantecler's Trattoria. We stopped at Primavera a few times for gelato. I think you'd want/need a reservation for both restaurants.

I was originally drawn to Parrucchiano but a lot of reviews say that it is a tourist trap (great atmosphere but overpriced and underwhelming food and bad service).
