Reviews Summary

Seu Pizza Illuminati is widely celebrated for its innovative and exceptionally delicious pizzas with a unique, light, and airy crust. Diners rave about the creative topping combinations and high-quality ingredients. While the food garners significant praise, some visitors note that the atmosphere can be loud and crowded, and service can occasionally be slow during peak times.

"This place is a heaven !
A must see place like Colesium !
I went there with my family. The staff was wonderful. Super nice people work there. Always positive and help you select the pizzas.
We had 3 pizzas with a Croccheta Patate !
Pizzas were Bufala , Provola e pepe and Pizza Del Giorno !
We love everything we ate. Bufala is like Margarita so it is our favorite ! Second favorite is Provola E pepe mam ma mia !!!
Pizza Del Giorno is the one that has artichoke which also was good.
The most wonderful thing about those pizzas are the DOUGH.
That crazy soft but crunchy but very cloudy feel of softness blends with lovely smelly tasty dough ! It is truly something you have not tasted before !

I insist you go try ! It is a must EAT ! They are trying something new in there, thats for sure and they nailed it so well.
If I visit Rome again I WILL go there once more.

Ok so , if you want to make a reservation you can make it through google ! I want to warn you it is a bit glitchy on google. I select the next day as the date , it did not show any time , so I select 3 days later and I select an hour. When I select the hour I went back to the first date I selected and Walla !! it worked suddenly I found a great hour for my reservation. I warn you please call them , they are very nice people I am sure they can help !

The prices were really good ! For a pizza like this deserves seriously more in my opinion. Those people invented something. They deserve more !

The atmosphere of the place has a vibe of 90s which I fell in love with. The neon light that says IN PIZZA WE TRUST shows their philosophy for the food they craft. I like the colors and big wall posters with an interesting (illuminati) logo they have. The place was clean and sharp.

You also see where they cook the pizzas which also made me happy to see where my pizza comes from or who prepares them.

The lady at the desk was very helpful for us to find a taxi !
I can not describe how I feel happy when I leave this place I wish I had more time in Rome to try their other pizzas. I would !
Thank you Chefs , waiters and all friends that made our visit wonderful. WE WILL BE BACK ! :)"

Burak Karakaş

"After 1 year of trying to eat at this place we finally did. Please make sure to reserve way in advance.
I had to reserve 10 days in advance, kinda crazy.

The atmosphere was horrible definitely will not recommend for people who get overstimulated easily. Super loud, super crowded and the waiters keep pushing my chair is was weird. People always in line waiting - definitely not romantic or special place.

Now the food. Yes the pizzas were amazing and delicious. Try to order many pizzas and sharing to try a lot of flavors.

We will not be returning"

Desislava Ratchova

"Pizza was great and a decent price. Reserved a few weeks ahead of time. Thought the tomato-based pastas were simple, but so flavourful!"

These are the 10 best restaurants in Rome, ranked by local expert

Everyone in Rome is talking about Pier Daniele Seu, Rome's pizza maker of the minute. His pizza, dough and leavening education started with Gabriele Bonci (touted by the foreign press as Rome's 'Michelangelo of pizza') but he has carved his own way. His is a gourmet pizza and he plays with the format too â€" pizzas cut in corners and a degustation style whereby one pizza at a time comes out to the table so diners get to share. All the classics are on the menu (Margherita, marinara, etc.) but Seu flirts with ingredients and you'll find anything from a deconstructed capricciosa pizza to one with tuna tartare and burrata. A variety of seasonal and prized ingredients like chicory, yellow tomatoes, walnuts and cocoa powder all make appearances on the extensive list of his signature creations â€" on a pizza base that has a thicker crust than the traditional Roman style.

The 10 Best Places to Eat in Trastevere

If you are tired of the typical Italian pizza with thin crust (although it is impossible to get bored) and want to try something different, I advise you to include in the gastronomic tour of Trastevere Seu pizza Illuminati, a local minimalist style that moves away from the clichés and folklore of traditional pizzerias. Here the pizzas are a mix between a calzone and a crepe with thick but very juicy edges that will delight your taste buds. One of the characteristics of the restaurant is that the menu varies according to the season and they also have wonderful sweet pizzas (worth a visit) and fried pizzas, which are sublime.
