Reviews Summary

Pompi is celebrated for its divine tiramisu, with many hailing it as the best in Rome. Reviewers rave about the melt-in-your-mouth consistency and variety of flavors, including standout gluten-free and pistachio options. While most praise the exceptional desserts and friendly service, a few have noted that it can be overrated or that service could be improved.

"Super light tiramisu — definitely worth a visit in Rome!
The taste was excellent, with an incredibly light and airy crema that almost melts in your mouth. It felt delicate yet flavorful. Highly recommended!

Last but not least — the ice cream was the highlight!
Especially the lemon flavor — it was the best I had in Rome. Definitely recommended!"

Nida özeçoğlu

"Pompi Tiramisù is a popular spot, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best tiramisu in Rome. The flavor was good, but it didn’t stand out compared to other places. It’s okay, but there are better options around if you’re really craving top-tier tiramisu."

AK Advisor

"Wonderful experience at Pompi! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The tiramisù is simply outstanding – creamy, rich, and full of flavor – definitely the best we had in Rome. To top it off, the espresso was excellent, almost comparable to the quality of Portuguese coffee 😉.

Definitely a must-visit spot if you are strolling through Rome!"

Best Places To Eat Cheap In Rome By Neighborhood

If you want to do as Romans do, skip the touristy Two Sizes for Tiramisu and head to the local favorite Pompi Tiramisu instead. One of my favorite Italian desserts is without a doubt the classic tiramisu, I’m obsessed, and when I asked my Roman friend for a recommendation to get the most authentic one in Rome, she unflinchingly directed me to Pompi Tiramisu. Similar to the maritozzi in Regoli Pasticceria, Pompi tiramisu is a place that locals will frequent to get a tiramisu to take with them for their family reunions, and if that’s not the ultimate Italian stamp of approval, I don’t know what is.

This bar is considered the king of all tiramisu and for years Romans would travel half way across the city to get their hands on one of their decadent tiramisu from their flagship store in the San Giovanni district near Piazza Re di Roma at via Albalonga 7b-9-11.
