What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and highly recommend dishes like fresh octopus and lemon ravioli. The attentive service is frequently praised for making meals memorable. However, some reviewers note that while good, the food quality might not always match the upscale prices, and the portions can be on the smaller side. The experience is generally considered worthwhile, especially for the ambiance and stunning scenery.
"My husband and I had some of our favorite meals at the Ristorante Raffaele in Ravello! Food was outstanding - I highly recommend the lamb chops. Gorgeous views of Amalfi Coast on restaurant terrace. Indoor seating is cozy and romantic. We will certainly be back!"

"Dining here was an unforgettable highlight of our visit to Ravello. The view alone— perched high above the sea-is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the warm, attentive service and the incredible food Traveling with a family of seven, ranging from 4 to 49 years old, I was a little hesitant about bringing the kids to such an elegant spot. But the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Our waiter was not only professional and attentive, but also joked around with the kids and made them feel completely welcome. They were happy to offer half or smaller portions for the little ones, which made the meal so much more enjoyable for everyone. The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared, and every dish we ordered was full of flavor ano beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to end an amazing day in Ravello-elegant, relaxed, and welcoming to all ages. Highly recommended!"

"We ordered the menu and the food was good, but not exceptional. The price seemed mainly estimated based on the view from the terrace, which was stunning. A nice place to eat overall."

An Oasis of Beauty and History in Ravello
He was so impressed by what he saw that he exclaimed, "I have found Klingsor's enchanted garden," just as he had envisioned for his opera Parsifal. Wagner imagined the towering medieval tower sinking into oblivion and becoming an enchanted garden, with tropical plants taking the form of beautiful maidens, and finally the garden itself transforming into a desert at the moment Parsifal defeats the sorcerer Klingsor.
THE HIDDEN GEM OF THE AMALFI COAST
Luckily, we’d decided to eat in the hotel this evening as the Ristorante Raffaele is highly rated so we didn’t have far to go. Ristorante Raffaele serves classical and Mediterranean cuisine and overlooks the Amalfi Coast. We sat on the terrace and the view was magical with all of the twinkling lights we could see below.

In fact, these gardens are so pretty, that it served as the inspiration for the second part of Wagner’s final opera, Parsifal. Many wedding ceremonies and parties are also held here, so don’t be surprised if you run into one during your visit!
