"The first night after we arrived in Amalfi, my wife and I went out to find a place to eat at. When I passed by La Perla tables by the corridors right outside the hotel we’re living in, I had a sense - this is a good restaurant. Still we continued to walk down the main street, checking those restaurants and bars packed with guests. Minutes later we decided to come back to La Perla - we made the right decision! This is a family-run restaurant, with an open window where you can look into the neat kitchen and see how the family are teaming up and preparing your order with delicacies. To me, an avid family cook, the foods here are fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The portion might be not that big but still decent, and if you are a quality food pursuer and you want explore those inspired cuisines but don’t want to lose control of your shape, here is the place. I can’t say they are the best in this town, but I don’t think it a easy task to find another restaurant over La Perla in terms of the family vibe in the kitchen, price for dining experience, and the quiet/snug dining ambience. Tonight, for the second night, we dined here."

"Delicious food and so relaxed and tranquil compared to the spots on the main street! The pasta of the day was so fresh, and the beef was cooked perfectly. Finishing the meal with his father’s fresh limoncello and crema di melone was such a treat too. Highly recommend! I will definitely be back during my next stay in Amalfi"

"Thank you to our waiter Diego for giving us exquisite service! He took such good care for us and had such a warm and gentle presence. All the food was delicious but the desert (lemon delizioso) was THE BEST dessert I've ever had in my life. You must try it !! Just exquisite, icy cool on the inside contrasted with a soft almost wafer like texture. We also got the Caprese salad and vongole and fried squid/prawns."
