"Very good family owned restaurant w whimsical decorations. On the top of the door arch stands three large bottles of grappa. Be reminder some of the dishes are of huge portions, like the seafood soup enough for four people in a regular restaurant. The lobster course was also gigantic."

04/09/2024: Having recently returned after years to this THIEVES restaurant, I am happy to correct my review... there were 3 of us a few evenings ago (let it be clear that I only went there because I wasn't paying... 😂😂) mixed starters of which only one plate of raw and the rest cooked, second course a sea bream which we divided into three with grilled vegetables, a bottle of calafuria rosé and 3 bitters (without first course) 110 euros each!!. Although the quality of the fish is excellent, it is simply a legalized theft..
Where to eat in Polignano: my favourite places
It’s very close to the statue of Domenico Modugno and its one of my absolutely favourite places, I confess. A particular atmosphere, sophisticated but at the same time relaxed, mixed with elements that taste of sea. On one wall there are dedications left by famous personalities that have dined here, on another the collection of wine labels for all to see.
