"What a wonderful restaurant!!! We read the reviews, so knew it would be worth waiting. It's small & lively, packed with friendly locals and excited tourists. They bring a menu on a chalkboard in either Italian or English. You chose the number of courses you want or just order individual plates. Wine was fantastic & inexpensive. The food was OUTSTANDING!! Honestly, this was the best meal we've had in our 2 months in Italy. The original owner still comes in to visit during meals. He's delightful. The prices are shockingly low. Our entire bill, with 2 pasta dishes, 2 pork dishes, 500 ml wine, bread, dessert, and espresso was under $40. I would return to Pisa just to eat at this restaurant."
