What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pizzeria e cucina da Linda is celebrated for its exceptional pizza with a perfect crust and delicious toppings, as well as authentic local dishes like Pici pasta. Diners consistently praise the friendly, family-like service and great value for money. While the food receives widespread acclaim, one reviewer noted an unfortunate incident involving a culturally insensitive 'joke' after their meal, highlighting a need for greater inclusion and respect, despite the overall positive dining experience.
"While the town was busy on the first sunny Saturday of Fall, we walked up and were offered our choice of tables outside in the afternoon.
The service was attentive and helpful. Having had pizza many times on numerous visits to Italy I can honestly say this was my favorite.
The crust was perfection, and each of the four of us had different and delicious toppings.
Mine, the sausage and truffle, was to die for!!
One of the three best pizzas I've ever had.
A little lady in a chef's hat came outside occasionally. I discovered from other reviews that I read later that this is Linda who I believe should be famous. You make an amazingly delicious pizza Linda."

"Food is great and generous. Pici fresh and tasty, dessert divine. It’s five star. However, cultural inclusion and sensitivity is sadly missing.
Upon arrival, the gentleman warmly welcomed me. Service is efficient. I tried Pici with Ragu, a glass of wine, and Panna Cotta for dessert. The chef clearly knows what he/she was doing.
After the meal, another gentleman offered some after-meal drink, perhaps Grappa, perhaps limoncello (I haven’t got a chance to ask). And then he said “drink it, it is anti-covid, anti-virus”
With a funny-looking smile. Other tables heard and laughed along with him, at me.
Being a young Asian woman, traveling alone, I was amazed by the beauty and warmth of Montepulciano thus far. And at that moment, all the joy from this trip, from adventures, all disappeared. I felt speechless toward the disrespectful “joke”.
Overall, wonderful food, but perhaps with a bit more inclusion and respect. Sometimes, words hurt people, whether they are intentional or unintentional."

"Absolutely loved our lunch at Pizzeria e cucina da Linda! The calzone was perfectly baked, the pizza was full of flavor, and the limoncello was the perfect finishing touch. Excellent service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended!"
