"Excellent place for dinner, family owned and operated- and it shows! In addition to a superb menu and exquisite presentation, they also make their own wine.
Of interest to give an indication of how exceptional it is, while we were there, 2 local wine producers meet at the table next to us with their families, and obviously not their first time here.
Lasagna and roast boar, both perfectly prepared.
This is definitely on the 'return to' list."

Before dropping us off he recommended one of his favorite local restaurants Il Pozzo and helped us make a reservation. Then gave us his cell phone number in case we needed recommendations the rest of the trip. We ended up texting Mario the next day when we went to Pienza and he recommended a great farm for lunch that also has a cheese factory!.
