"Revisited 2 years after the first visit, still excellent. Had light dinner with pasta at our first visit, very good. This time round it was lunch time and we decided to treat ourselves to some Fiorentino steak, 1.3kg in total. Prepered on coal, served medium rare and tender as it gets! Had “Reserva del Presidente” red wine with it, also superb! Cannot emphasise enough that the T-bone was amazing, one of the best ever. Must visit if you enjoy meat and good wine!"

Talking of memorable meals (and of steak!) I have been meaning to let you in on this little secret for a while… Whilst in Lake Garda recently, we took my Mother in Law for a special birthday lunch at Locanda Bella Italia. Locanda basically means Inn, and with its fantastic food and beautiful setting perched on a quiet hillside surrounded by its own vineyards, I can’t think of anywhere nicer for a couple of days in this area!
