Reviews Summary
Pizzeria - Cellarius - Osteria Via Mazzini dal 2013 is praised for its "insanely good food," particularly its wood-fired pizzas and fresh seafood, with many also enjoying the craft beers and desserts. However, some reviews mention inconsistent service, with instances of rudeness and errors in orders, and a few find the pizza toppings overwhelming for traditionalists.
"After a week of traveling through Sicily, Pizzeria Cellarius stands out as the place where I’ve had the best pizza so far. The dough was light and perfectly baked, and I ordered the pizza with spicy sausage — it had just the right amount of heat and flavor. You can really tell they use fresh, quality ingredients.
What made the experience even better was the speed: our pizzas were ready surprisingly quickly, despite how busy it was. There’s a wide variety of pizzas to choose from, and to my surprise, they also brew their own beers — I tried one and it was absolutely delicious. A real bonus!
The menu was available in English, which was super helpful, and the service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and relaxed.
Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a great pizza!"

"A bit overrated, with over 100+ pizzas to offer they don’t taste at all traditional. Instead you feel they just overload the dough with an overwhelming quantity of toppings, and to be honest isn’t that great. Better off going to a smaller locally run place. Will be cheaper too."

"I have kind of mixed feelings about this place. First of all the tables were located right next to a busy street which was quite noisy during the entire dinner.
When I ordered my pizza I had high hopes as the rating of the is restaurant was quite high. However as we got our pizzas, my pizza had an incredible amount of toppings. I could hardly taste the pizza dough anymore. On the one hand this amount of toppings is very generous for the 10 euros that I paid for it but it was still too much for my liking.
Altogether it wasn’t the worst experience that I had but I feel like it could have easily been better."
