"Very nice smallish trattoria nestled in an old street in the Old Town. We came upon it by chance and the menu was also in English ! A big help for non - Italian speakers like us. A simple cabrese salad shared between us was followed by a delicious Orrchiete in a spicy sauce with cheese and basil and my Wife had Sea bass in a lemon sauce with vegetable side. Both excellent. The host was discrete and very helpful. Drinks very fair prices. A small carafe of house white being cheaper than the seafront prices for a glass. The spina beer cold and excellent. E60 all in so good value too. Recommend you try and find it."

We understand that local people aren’t very good with English language but staff handled this situation perfectly making us understand what we order. "This trattoria in Gallipoli didn't meet our expectations. The brought us bread which was clearly not fresh. The tomato sauce in polpo in pignatta had a bitter taste, probably because it was overcooked.We ordered scaloppina con i funghi and they brought us scalona al limone, but the taste was good. The Fritto misto was tasteless. The service was good and waitress very welcoming."
