🍷🎭✨ #TeatroDelSale #Firenze #CulturaeCibo #traveltips #Toscana #Spettacolo #Ci...

Still thinking about the speeches from the Pestalozzi students 🥲 Teatro del Sale doesn’t just host events; it’s a year-round table for lovely food, live performances, and most importantly - human connection. 🤝 🍷 If you missed this edition, catch it next year! But better yet, book a cultural social dinner at Teatro del Sale any time 💖 #florenceitaly #florenceevents #florencefood #florencedinner #fl...

Reviews Summary

Teatro del Sale offers a truly unique and magnificent evening, blending a generous Tuscan buffet with captivating live performances. Diners rave about the incredible value, the passion of the staff, and the authentic Florentine experience. While the intimate and Italian-centric nature of the shows might require some language basics, the overall experience is described as a highlight of any trip to Florence.

"The entire evening was magnificent! This is a must when you go to Florence.$37.00 will get you a 6 course meal. The food was beyond delicious and I couldn't have asked for anything more! Be sure to either skip lunch or have a light meal because there is soooo much food during the dinner. You will be happy you did as you will want to taste everything. You're welcome 😉"

"We are so happy that our class introduced us to Teatro del Sale & the Sant'Ambrogio neighborhood. As study abroad students, we were grateful to get an authentic Florence experience. Although we did not get the chance to see a live show, we were able to see the beautiful stage and interior, and enjoy some of the best food! We loved how passionate everyone was about their job and Florence in general. We can't wait to go back and catch a show!"

"An amazing experience at a very reasonable price for what you're getting! Multiple courses of delicious buffet food and a unique piece of theatre every time you go; it was a highlight of our trip. In particular, me and my partner are vegetarians (the only vegetarians there), and once we had communicated this to the chefs, they took the time with each course to make a unique veggie option for us, keeping us informed about what was in each meal. We were blown away by the effort and care taken, as we were fully expecting to stick to one course throughout. Our advice, part of the experience is that it is very Italian, we would recommend having a grasp of the language basics and the whole show is in Italian too. You need membership to get in; we bought this and then sent an email to inquire about booking. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

17 of the best places to eat in Florence

No epicurean razz around Florence is complete without dinner and a show in honor of Florence's original rebel chef in the longstanding foodie 'hood of Sant'Ambrogio. The eccentric lovechild of late, larger-than-life Florentine chef and disruptor Fabio Picchi, Il Teatro del Sale raises the curtain on a noisy, hectic symphony of outstanding Tuscan dishes. Dinner climaxes at 9:30pm with a live performance of jazz, drama or stand-up comedy.

10 of the Best Cheap Eats in Florence

This has to be both the best deal and most original place to eat in Florence. It was created by flamboyant chef Fabio Picchi and his actress wife, Maria Cassi, and you pay €5 to join this artistic club, open from Tuesday to Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a live show at night. A tempting buffet is laid out, then the chef shouts out dishes from the window of his open kitchen and guests line up to be served wonderful creations like pasta with artichokes and red mullet, oven-roasted with herbs and olive oil.

If you want something different, you can’t go past brunch at Teatro del Sale, run by the eccentric, infamous chef, Fabio Picchi, of Cibreo (or Cibreo itself, or it’s little sibling, affectionately known as Cibreino, the little trattoria to the left of the pricier restaurant. You can’t book, it’s small but wonderful). One of my favourite spots to take people to.
