"The hidden gem of Catania. As you walk down the street, you see a sign almost forgotten... but if you dare to walk in this amazing place, you find yourself in love. Amazing food, from the starters, to the pasta, to the deserts. (Try the amazing homemade tiramisu) And the best part ? The amazing family who owns the place! We loved it so much that we went back for more! If you go to Catania, be sure to give the outside of place the benefit of the doubt, I'm sure you won't regret it! "A fantastic last minute spot for lunch. Absolutely delicious food and charming service not too far from the Museo Storico dello Sbarco in Sicilia 1943.
The seafood was a particular highlight for all of us, above all the mussels and grilled octopus salad.

"We spent an entire evening there, drinking, laughing and eating food that was so good, that it became our scale to compare other meals in Sicily to it :). The fish, the meats, the salads, the pasta, everything! The staff didn’t speak much English but our Italian was enough to communicate. But when it was too difficult to explain what a meal is, the waiter just told us to wait, went to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a plate of meats and other ingredients and showed us which is which, while being so nice and funny, that we wanted to try everything 😂. We did have to wait quite a bit for everything and they did forget a few things (brought them later when we asked) but they had a few big groups and were taking care of everyone so it was understandable. They also did it in such a nice and friendly way that we didn’t mind. Every group spent their entire evening there so it’s not just your typical touristy order-eat-leave in an hour. You go there to spend the evening and trust me, you won’t be disappointed. You will have a great time and eat one of the best meals in your life 👌"
