"This place was recommended to us for dinner.. I was on the fence because of the reviews… but best and most memorable meal of the trip! We had a reservation and were told to go for the views!! When we got there we noticed the outside was closed because it would be raining later that night. I was afraid eating wouldn’t be worth it if we had to eat inside. But not at all! We had a great meal! We were able to take a couple of pictures outside before it started to rain. The man that takes the orders is very dry (it didn’t bother us but some reviews say he is wasn’t that nice). It was a pricier meal. We spent $425 for 4 people but also had 3 bottles of wine. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you are looking for a nice restaurant! We rented a car so we just drove up and parked."

If you find exactly the correct vantage point, you can look over the palm trees and see the famous Villa Balbienello, itself far above the waters, as proud as it is elegant on its high promontory. 11/06/2025: Unfortunately, as American tourists, we felt taken advantage of. There were charges on our bill that we had to ask about in order to dispute and it felt intentional. The staff was only friendly to us until we called them out for charging us for more limoncellos than we ordered etc.
