"Turns out the restaurant is a fine dining. We ordered 3 main dish.
1. Lamb with potato was juicy with tasty sauce, perfect combination
2. Grilled chicken taste different than others, red sauce was unique, not bolognese. But not my favorite, though
3. Duck breast with crispy pork, meat was tender but a bit plain for my liking. I’d prefer there’s more sauce as it was too dry
Service was so so. Portion was smaller than the fine dining we had in Sienna & Florence. Overall not that impressed with the price we paid"

Ristorante San Francesco is normally a place I’d avoid because of its sensational position overlooking the Basilica. But thanks to my friend’s recommendation we ate very well (risotto and roast pork amongst other delicious dishes) and the bill was very reasonable. Just look at this view!
