By the time you reach the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast and the Galli Islands, noto to mention Mama Rosa's homemade ravioli and the simply prepared catch of the day.

This cave-like restaurant with intricate furnishings is positioned along a quiet area secluded from the touristy spots where you will enjoy tasty food and a glimpse at the sea. Considered one of the best family-run restaurants, the services, and the foods there are very impressive.

Another low-key treasure of Capri, Le Grottelle is nestled away in the pathway on your walk to the natural arch. A restaurant ‘with a view’ is to say the least - you’re 1:1 with nature with one of the most gorgeous views of the island. As Italians would say, the food here is very ‘casareccio’ a.k.a homily - think simple, easy, nonna kind of food - and the pricing?

It has a sublime setting, with its terrace built into a sea cave overlooking the water. On a clear day, you can see as far as Calabria and Salerno from the pretty terrace.

If you go on the ‘Via Tragara’ long beautiful walk, you will eventually end up at Le Grottelle. It is a restaurant up on the hill of the cliff outside overlooking the sea. It’s such a special place and the food is very good.

At Le Grottelle the figs on your dessert plate come from the tree below your table. In Anacapri Giorgio al Cucciolo serves locally caught seafood with a view of Vesuvius. Ask about the Pezzogna and the razor clams.

After enjoying a peaceful walk in Pizzolungo, Le Grottelle serves as an ideal spot to pamper your taste buds. As evident from its name, the appearance of this restaurant resembles a cave.
