Reviews Summary

Trattoria Da Mirko is celebrated for its authentic Sardinian cuisine, particularly its fresh seafood and homemade pasta. Diners frequently praise the attentive service and cozy atmosphere. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some found dessert portions to be small and a few meals slightly overpriced for the quantity.

"We had a great dinner here! The staff was attentive and very friendly, and we appreciated the wide range of gluten-free options — even the bread served was gluten-free. Our seafood tasting starter was the highlight: diverse, fresh, and full of flavor. The black ravioli pasta was solid, about a 4 out of 5, but still enjoyable, especially with the lovely house wine. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed.

Update (second visit):
We returned and were once again impressed. The tuna steak was a standout — crispy on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside. It was my first time trying tuna steak, and I’m glad it was here! The grilled squid with sauce was also really nice.

The only downside was the desserts: a bit pricey for the portion and kinda dry. Sadly, we couldn’t try their tiramisu either :(

Still, a very enjoyable experience overall.

"We had a great dinner in Trattoria Da Mirko. They offer an excellent choice of foods and drinks, made from delicious local ingredients and served perfectly. I would recommend the grilled octopus and the seadas as dessert as they’re really special.

The service was attentive and friendly and the charming little side street where the restaurant is located makes the atmosphere lovely.

They have a couple of areas to sit apart for my he main restaurant, space is still limited though, so reserving up front makes sense."

"Oh wonderful fish dinner! We chose choise of fish starter, octopus and fish fillet! Everything was perfect! Best pastries in the basket! The sweet surprise was wonderful 🥰 Be sure to try their limoncello and grappa! Need to book a table in advance for dinner! Thank you Mirko team 🙏
It was one of the highlights of our trip!"

Where to eat in Alghero: the 7 best places chosen by Gambero Rosso

A safe haven among the alleys of the old town, with some tables outside. The cuisine moves along the land/sea line following traditional recipes from both realms. Start with fried sea anemones, a selection of local cheeses and cold cuts, then the tasty Algherese paella with seafood, caserecce with lamb sauce and dried tomatoes, and mixed fried fish.
