"My wife and I called into Ciro late afternoon on Wednesday 28 August 2024 for coffee and cake. What a beautiful café! We chose a couple of different cakes (sorry but I can't remember their names!) and two cappuccinos. Everything was absolutely superb. The young lady serving spoke good English. A really lovely place to sit for half an hour. We would definitely recommend."

"Just outside the old city, this lovely pastry shop is clearly a local favorite. The pastries were excellent, and the cappuccino was truly worth the stop. The place was full of people on their morning routines, which gave it an authentic and lively atmosphere.
As visitors, we did notice our coffees took a bit longer to arrive compared to others who came in after us—perhaps a reflection of the morning rush and regulars on their way to work. Still, it was a great experience overall."

La pasticceria più rinomata della città, gestita ancora dalla moglie del fondatore, Ciro, ovviamente napoletano, come almeno metà della pasticcheria servita al bancone, dove ricette partenopee si intrecciano con quelle locali. La sfogliatella riccia accanto a una ricottella, per intenderci. Il caffè è ottimo e lo stile del bar strizza l'occhio a quello dei locali "in ghingheri" degli anni '80 - e anche prima -: i camerieri sono in divisa elegante, con papillon e buone maniere che non guastano mai, soprattutto quando si sta iniziando una giornata di vacanza.
