Reviews Summary
Dallal Restaurant offers a beautiful setting in Tel Aviv's Neve Tzedek with generally well-received food, particularly its bakery items. However, some diners find the portions small for the price, and service can be inconsistent, with reports of delays and inattentiveness. The ambiance is often praised for its charm, but can be quite loud.
"A rather big place in a very central space in tel Aviv (close to the ocean). Pretty loid inside so difficult to talk without yelling.
The service was pretty good, waiters were attentive although they did not remember who ordered what.
The food was great for me. The first dishes such as arenchini and salad were very good, for the main course I liked the burger very much, although they have a very large menu beyond it.
The tiramisu for desert was huge and delicious. Feel free to take one and share. Same for the chocolate desert.
Oh yeah - bathroom was very clean and quite spacious."

"The food was tasty, however the portions were extremely small and not filling. The deserts tasted better than the savory dishes, except for the Paris cheese cake which wasn't for my taste. The drinks were good.
The waiters were nice, however everything took so long and I only got my dish while my family already finished half of their's. Also, my father received a cold steak and had it remade.
The sits were comfortable but it was crowded and loud in there.
For the price of the place, I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed.
If you choose to go I recommend ordering a place before hand!"

"I am delighted with the atmosphere, the beauty of this place. I noticed how many details were thought out, vintage mirrors and chairs, candlesticks and lamps. All the cutlery is in vintage style, plates with painting. There were fresh lilies and calla lilies in vases, a wonderful interior, clean and spacious. The waiters were in good suits in honor of Purim. The food was wonderful. With tea they served "Amman's ear" with poppy seeds, which they prepare in their pastry shop. the waiters were attentive and friendly. At the reception we were met by a very polite and pleasant girl. The guys are great. The only thing that confused me was the smell of iron from the iron tables. But as you understand, one minus does not outdo all the pluses"

Inside a beautifully restored historic building, this bistro has a rarefied atmosphere and an on-the-premises bakery that turns out a luscious array of French-style pastries. The breakfast menu highlights some of the baked delights, including smoked-salmon croissants and the indulgent French toast sandwich with fruit, ricotta cheese, and maple syrup. 7 Best Bakeries in Tel Aviv
Nestled in the heart of Neve Tsedek, one of Tel Aviv’s most charming and picturesque neighborhoods, you’ll find the Dallal Bakery, beloved by locals and visitors alike. A team of savvy bakers, supervised by pastry chef Timor Levi, work throughout the day to produce traditional baked goods which combine classic European influences with Israeli flavors - and few leave disappointed. Whether you’re looking for a bagel, a brioche, a croissant (their almond variety is legendary) or a puff-pastry apple caramel turnover, you’ll sigh with delight once you taste it.

I’ve been to Dallal several times, usually for celebrating a special occasion like our wedding day or when the blog reached 10,000 followers on Facebook 🙂 Actually, we went there for the business menu as they offer it until a rather late hour and it’s really worthwhile. In my opinion the best starters are the tortellini with mascarpone and forest mushrooms and the thinly sliced salmon. We considered ordering something else every time, but ended up choosing the same dishes as they are simply too good.
The Best Places to eat Sufganiyot in Tel Aviv
Located in the beautiful old neighbourhood of Neve Tzedek, the Dallal Bakery is famous for its delicious pastries (particularly their Danishes, which are reputed to be the best in the city). They won’t let you down over the Hannukah season either - in the last few years, they’ve served visitors with creations made of raspberry ganache, coconut and ‘milk jam’. Dallal has an outdoor seating area, perfect for taking a break, and the vibe is always chilled.

Across town, in the picturesque neighborhood of Neve Tzedek, stands another urban institution: Dallal. Established by Andrea (Doushi) Leitersdorf in 2007, the Dallal empire encompasses a restaurant, bakery, events space and café, the latter located uptown. “Our bakery has a manufacturing license – we’re actually a small factory with some 14 pastry chefs working in very artisanal, hands-on, old-school methods,” Leitersdorf tells ISRAEL21c.
