Reviews Summary

Hatzot is a legendary Jerusalem institution celebrated for its authentic Israeli cuisine, particularly its iconic mixed grill and generous meat platters. Diners rave about the flavorful food, beautiful atmosphere, and attentive service, often calling it a must-visit. While most reviews are glowing, some patrons have experienced slow seating, and one noted the price for a pita with Coke felt a bit high.

"Ofer our server is very friendly and explained the dishes well. We had the veal kebab, chicken breast and spring chicken platters. The condiment spread was delicious too. A must eat at place."

Lavina Rodrigues

"We had an incredible experience last night! My wife, mother-in-law, and I attended a wedding reception for my niece, and the venue exceeded our expectations.

The atmosphere was electric, and the servers were attentive, helpful, and ensured we had everything we needed. The complimentary starters were plentiful and absolutely delicious!

Overall, the quality of food, service, and ambiance was top-notch, and the pricing was extremely reasonable. We highly recommend this venue for any special occasion!

5/5 stars!""

"I waited to be seated by the host, as the sign instructs. There were two hosts deep in conversation with the only table that had customers in the entire restaurant. I made eye contact with the hosts several times and they did not ask me if I needed to be seated, if I needed help, nothing. Finally after waiting for five minutes I decided to eat somewhere else."

This popular steakiah (meat grill) has a separate takeaway window and street-side tables. The extensive takeaway menu includes their famous Jerusalem mixed grill and my personal favorite, succulent pargit, both with their secret spice mix.
