Reviews Summary

Focaccia Bar offers a lively atmosphere and a diverse menu with many popular Italian dishes, particularly its signature focaccia. While many praise the food's taste and generous portions at reasonable prices, some diners have reported significant issues with service, citing slow responses, unhelpful staff, and a general lack of attentiveness. Despite these inconsistencies, the restaurant remains a popular spot, especially on Shabbat.

"We arrived 15 family members on a Holiday- pick service time - the restaurant was packed ! but the staff was amazing, the food arrived fast and super Yummy !
Order most of the menu, Pizzas, Pastas, Salads And the Grill dishes. They were so good.
We really enjoyed ourselves! And w’ll definitely come back on our next trip to Jerusalem!"

Karni Reshef

"A sit-in restaurant that feels like dining outdoors in the magical streets of the center of Jerusalem. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a thoughtfully designed interior. A variety of dishes are available at reasonable prices. The staff is exceptionally polite, friendly, and welcoming. There are several parking lots nearby, making access convenient."

Mosh Feuchtwanger

"We called ahead and booked a seat and when we arrived there were over thirty people outside - all booked ahead. Over half an hour passed and we still weren't seated until we just have up.
What a waste of an evening!
Updated:
We gave this place another try a year later. This time it was almost empty. Unfortunately the wait staff barely knew Hebrew. We ordered the steak (which was good), and the Arais (which was not good). The Arais was too greasy and the pita bread was over done, dry and burned.
The fries were decent though!"

When we first went when it first opened, I was satisfied but not in love. Since then, they seem to have straightened out their service issues, which made me enjoy the food so much more. We went back over Passover and had an extremely satisfying meal (beef carpaccio and roast beef salad like last time, plus eggplant/lamb moussaka).
