Reviewers praise the friendly staff and the inviting, chic ambiance, both indoors and in the outdoor seating area. While generally positive, some customers have experienced slow service during busy periods, though the staff often compensate with complimentary items.
"One of the best brunch spots in Galway. Really nice restaurant with a fantastic varied menu with changing specials. Always satisfied with the food, highly recommend the brioche breakfast roll. Great Specialty coffee too."
Liam Anthony
"Last Sunday, Galway treated us to sunshine and a leisurely stroll through its vibrant center. On our way home, the idea of brunch popped into our minds, and Urban Grind was the winning choice.
The place was buzzing with activity but, fortunately, we were seated quickly and set about ordering our meal. It has quite nice atmosphere there.
To our delight, the coffee from 3fe was exceptional, paired with two beautifully crafted brunch dishes. Each dish had its own unique flair, yet both were perfectly balanced in flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. One standout detail was the use of whole avocado 🥑 rather than a paste—a thoughtful touch that added a more authentic, fruity taste to the dish. The flavors brought back fond memories of Éan restaurant, whose closure still lingers in our hearts. For tea enthusiasts, you'll be pleased to know Urban Grind opts for loose-leaf tea, an unmistakable sign of their commitment to quality.
The staff, though bustling around with the weekend rush, was consistently friendly and welcoming. It's safe to say Urban Grind has found a place in our hearts (and stomachs) for weekend brunches."
