Peploe's is consistently praised for its sophisticated European cuisine, attentive service, and stylish atmosphere, making it a popular choice for special occasions. "Lovely restaurant with great food and service. The food was clearly of superior quality made with the greatest attention to detail with high quality Irish ingredients. Highly recommend"

"Upscale restaurant with comfortable seating. The staff is nice enough. Delicious margarita. We expected higher prices with it being a nice place but it seemed a little overpriced. The food was good but none of us were wowed. I got a salad and I can’t recall what my parents got, I think scampi or prawns and one of the fish dishes? Overall, totally fine experience and across the street from a nice park."

"Stopped for a lovely glass of Rose wine.
Group of four seated at the bar.
Friends got engaged here many years ago.
Looked like a lovely restaurant and bar.
Very helpful barman.
Would stay longer and eat next time.
More exclusive than most bars.
A nice place to dress up.
Recommended 😁🇮🇳🏴"

Owner Barry Canny, formerly of Browne’s Brasserie, sought to create a space with an unrivalled buzz across the city, and establish a European city style bistro atmosphere in the heart of Dublin. His vision has seen great success; today Peploe’s is somewhat of an institution in its own right, the experience only further enhanced by the fantastic, Michelin recommended food.
Dining Out In Dublin, Part Two
Peploe’s draw a posh crowd and celebrities in town tend to drop in, so the staff runs as smooth as it needs to be when demands can be idiosyncratic. The wine list is excellent, with a good house Bordeaux. The food, while well prepared, does not pretend to novelty, geared instead to a something-for-everyone menu like a hearty onion soup gratinée with sourdough crouton and piping hot Gruyère (€9.50) and a cream of cauliflower soup (€8.50).
