To start with as a hub for authentic Indian cuisine, Muse Café & Art has now transformed into one of the most sought-after rooftop dining spots in Ubud. It’s the perfect place to relax with friends, savor wholesome dishes made with all-natural, locally sourced ingredients. Muse Cafe serves a variety of small plates that are perfect for sharing and swapping so that you can try a little bit of everything.

Muse Cafe is more than a coffee shop it’s also a wine bar with an excellent selection of reasonably priced wines (by the glass or bottle). And, of course, it’s in a wonderful rooftop location providing a wonderful view over the town of Ubud as you sample their Indian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fusion dining options. This cafe serves organic food wherever possible which is always a welcome treat.

This idyllic cafe is right in the middle of Ubud town center on Monkey Forest road. Everything about Art Cafe is cute and rustic, from its yellow tile floors and turquoise door, to its framed art pieces that cover the walls and mismatched sofas and chairs. They serve up a variety of both western dishes and Asian dishes, including salads, pastas, and a few Thai and Balinese options.

Jazz Café Ubud is a must-visit for anyone who loves smooth, sophisticated jazz. This venue creates an enchanting atmosphere where you can enjoy live performances by both local and international jazz musicians. The relaxed vibe and exceptional acoustics here make it the perfect spot for a night of great music and intimate conversations.

Something that I really enjoyed in Bali was going out for brunch and Ubud has a great selection of cafes to choose from. With 3 days in Ubud, there’ll be many opportunities to enjoy the local cafe scene. My favourite breakfast was at Soul Bites who serve fabulously presented food around the corner from the Yoga Barn.

If you’re looking for a dining experience beyond a meal, Muse might be the perfect place for it. People love to go to Muse and sit on the roof and eat delicious Indian food and wash it down with cocktails. And then, they like to stay and soak up the views for hours.

Bagus Cafe was named Australia's top Cheap Eat in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards, while Muse Restaurant in Pokolbin was named our best Fine Dining Restaurant. The awards are based on reviews by diners posted to the trip planning site.

You could blink and miss this spot, but you would be missing out. This quiet little cafe has a beautiful little backyard with seating and comfortable spots in the front. We stopped in a few times for their apps and sandwiches.
