Reviews Summary

Diners rave about El Merkat Bali's delicious food, friendly service, and great value. The diverse menu caters to various tastes, from hearty breakfasts and Spanish specialties to healthy bowls. While the food is consistently praised, some mention that service can be slower during peak times, which is understandable given the restaurant's popularity. Overall, it's a highly recommended spot for its quality and affordability.

"The foods taste so good! You must try the carbonara bacon, its so creamy cheesy & also the egg melts in ur mouth 😋 The protein bowl also super healthy & tasty! This place also have indoor & outdoor! Good for coworking space & work from cafe! And the price is affordable too ❤️"

"We come here regularly, and it never disappoints! The breakfasts are fantastic, but the lunches and dinners are even better. And let’s not forget the espresso—easily the best I’ve had on Bali. Smooth, rich, and always perfectly made. They even serve it with a crispy sweet pastry and a glass of water, which is a nice touch.

Today, we had the Big Breakfast and Eggs Benedict, and we highly recommend both! The flavors were amazing, everything was perfectly cooked, and it was just pure joy on a plate.

The staff is always friendly and smiling, and while the food can take a bit longer during busy times, it’s completely understandable—this place is popular for a reason!

If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t hesitate. You’ll love it here just as much as we do!"

"Last night around 9:40 PM, we were super hungry and decided to stop by a place called El Merkat on our way home. There were no more customers inside, and they were almost closing, so we asked if they could still take our order. To our surprise, they welcomed us with a smile and happily prepared three delicious bowls for us.

The food was incredible — full of flavor and freshly made. What really stood out was the cleanliness of the place and how kind and professional the staff were. Most places would’ve turned us away at that hour, but here, we were treated with warmth and respect.

No one rushed us, and when we finished, they saw us off with big smiles and friendly waves. This kind of service is rare. A truly welcoming team, great food, and genuine hospitality.

Definitely five stars — and we’ll be back with the whole family🙏🏼"
