"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Prabhupada in Puri! The hotel boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff always ready to assist. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. Its location is ideal, close to the beach and local attractions. Overall, Hotel Prabhupada offers great value for money and a memorable experience. Highly recommended!"

"The room has great views though overpriced. Rooms were decently clean bathrooms neat. However I had the worst kind of food poisoning after returning from the hotel. The food served wasn't fresh, it was reheated and served. Food is best avoided while visiting the restaurant.
Adding comments post the reply from the Hotel: I had 2 breakfast and a meal at the hotel. If we go by the words of every chef there would be no food poisoning. Additionally your lack of ownership and trying to divert the responsibility speaks volumes how seriously you take your food business."

"I had a highly unpleasant experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or value-for-money stay.

From the moment I checked in, the staff showed a non-cooperative attitude. Any request, no matter how small, was either delayed or outright ignored. There was a complete lack of hospitality, and it felt like they were doing us a favor by simply acknowledging us.

To make matters worse, I was charged for things that were not justified. Hidden charges popped up at checkout, including fees for amenities that were not properly maintained — most notably, the swimming pool. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and honestly not usable, yet they had the audacity to charge for it and to mention I was injured while swimming since the floor of the swimming pool was rough, broken tiles etc.

The room itself was a disappointment. The corners were dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Even worse, the bedsheet provided was torn — a basic amenity that one should never have to worry about, especially in a hotel that claims to offer decent service.

Overall, this place lacks cleanliness, professionalism, false commitment from the staff regarding discounts, offers and transparency. I sincerely hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and improves, but until then, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere."
