What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hotel Guru ECR is lauded for its authentic and delicious South Indian, particularly Chettinad, cuisine, with standout non-vegetarian options like biryani and mutton preparations. While many praise the flavors, service, and reasonable prices, some mention concerns about pricing for certain dishes, limited quantity of mutton, and occasional delays in service during peak times.
"The non veg meal here was fantastic. Only gravies are provided. Actual mutton chicken fish needs to be ordered separately. But the taste is simply out of the world. A very memorable lunch."

"Excellent place for nonveg lovers. Also very reasonable to the pocket. We ordered Biryani, Mutton thokku and chicken pepper fry. Meat was super tender&subtle and mainly without reddish coating. The Seeraga Samba rice Biryani really amazing with simple mix of spices which exactly connected the right notes. Worth place if you are visiting Mahabalipuram."
Kumar S
"We had roast and veg fried rice. The sambar and chutney were good too. The food was fresh and all of it tasted good. It's a good place to stop on the highway for a meal, be it veg or non veg. The service was good. Servers were polite and greeted us with us a smile. There are neat washrooms as well."
