What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reykjavik Kitchen is celebrated for its innovative take on traditional Icelandic cuisine, particularly its tender lamb and perfectly cooked fish. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes and the cozy, stylish ambiance. While service is generally excellent and attentive, some guests have noted occasional minor communication issues between kitchen and front-of-house.
"We had a great dining experience here.
The lamb was delicious and very tender. I loved the sauce and the burnt taste of the salad. Altogether it was a fantastic dinner.
Highly recommended."

"We were looking for something close to home and found this lovely restaurant literally across the street. We started with soups — I had the seafood soup and my husband chose the lamb soup — both full of flavour and beautifully seasoned. For mains, I went with Arctic char while he had the lamb steak, and both dishes were cooked perfectly with great taste and presentation.
The location is very convenient, right on the main street, and the atmosphere is cosy. Definitely recommend it, especially if you’re staying nearby. If you’re in a group larger than two, I’d suggest booking in advance."
