Our next ruin pub experience in Budapest was at Mazel Tov (how could you not go to a place called Mazel Tov in a Jewish Quarter!?), a decidedly more upscale version serving Middle-Eastern food. We had the added benefit of a DJ and accompanying saxophonist, which was a cool and jazzy combo, as they were hosting a company event in the main portion of the bar.

Without having to change district, in the middle of the Jewish one, we find our next stop on the list. As with the previous establishment, Szimpla Kert is just a few metres away. This establishment presents itself not as a bar or restaurant, but as a cultural club, and with good reason.

Mazel Tov is one of the most hyped places in town, and it has all the proper factors to rightfully be called one. However – me and my friend had a terrible time here. The restaurant is located right at the center of the bubbly Jewish quarter, filled with pubs, restaurants and ruin bars.

Sometimes, Bailey doesn’t feel much for chilling under a table next to me. On those days I take her to Mazel Tov, where she and her furry brothers and sisters can freely roam the dog-friendly garden. In Mazel Tov I can sit back and just relax, beaming that my dog is having a good time.

From the Parliament, take the metro and step out at Blaha Lujza tér. Eat at Mazel Tov, a great-looking middle eastern and possibly the most popular restaurant in Budapest. Try to make a reservation in advance because there is pretty much always a long waiting line at the door.

If you like the concept of a ruined bar but don't want to sit on a chair that's done more than its fair share of good, visit the Mazel Tov bar. This combines the concept of a ruined bar and a modern restaurant. It will offer you great drinks and a high-level dining experience.

My daughter discovered this restaurant on a previous trip and was keen to go back there. Mazel Tov serves excellent Israeli food in an atmospheric old building with a covered courtyard at the back. People were queueing into the street for a table when we arrived to eat there.

I think a friend mentioned eating at Mazel Tov, but I also saw it on Google Maps and the menu looked delicious. To play it safe I made a reservation for lunchtime and good thing because it filled up quickly. Even as we left, a line had formed of people waiting to get a table.

Mazel Tov is Budapest’s staple burgeoning nightlife scene, spacious and stylish. Mazel Tov is a vast courtyard cultural space, swathed in twinkling lights, lined with different types of plants, with a glass roofing. Mazel Tov is located in Jewish District.

This is Mazel Tov, one of Budapest’s trendiest new restaurants. It’s all the rage today — hard to get a table. But soon the novelty will fade, and Mazel Tov will quietly join the ranks of reliable standbys…a list that gets longer and longer every year.

Mazel Tov is an Israeli fusion kitchen, located in Budapest’s Jewish quarter. It was actually voted the #1 restaurant in Budapest by TimeOut. I have not eaten here myself but it was recommended to us by Dan’s friend who also has celiac disease.

Mazel Tov honors the Jewish District, and it offers traditional Jewish dishes. It is a relatively new ruin pub that is also used as a community center. Most nights, local DJs are playing their music, and it is a favorite spot for many locals.

This place is one of the most famous giant courtyard cultural spaces. It’s an amazing place where you are going to enjoy not only nice drinks but you will have the opportunity to taste some amazing Mediterranean and Hungarian fusion dishes.

Mazel Tov is another place Bunny liked to frequent for dinner. It offers Israeli fusion kitchen (not kosher) with plenty of vegetarian options. Much like at Dobrumba, Bunny always preferred ordering a host of meze-like dishes in Mazel Tov.

On this last trip to Budapest, earlier this month, I thoroughly enjoyed one such lunch at Mazel Tov. Mazel Tov is easily one of the coolest, trendiest spots in Budapest's historic Jewish Quarter and one of the top Budapest restaurants.

Our first visit to Mazel Tov came during our first trip to Hungary. We quickly learned how different it was from many of the other Budapest ruin bars. In fact, if you don’t look too closely, very little about Mazel Tov seems “ruined.

Mazel Tov is a great spot for families to enjoy delicious meals in Budapest. It’s a restaurant and bar located on the bustling Akácfa Street. The cozy, vibrant interior makes it a perfect place to have fun with the whole family.

Mazel Tov is a clean, pleasant place in the seventh district of Budapest. The restaurant is located in the middle of the historic Jewish Quarter. In the evening, there is a real garden party atmosphere in Mazel Tov.

The Mazel Tov is currently the absolute place-to-be in Budapest. This famous ruin bar is considered to be one of the best restaurants in the Jewish quarter. It feels like the entire hipster scene is dining out here.

With over 20 regions of wine, Hungary is the ideal place for the wine connoisseur. Make sure to try Hungary’s most famous wines, Tokaji and Egri Bikavér. Sample these wines at one of Budapest’s famous ruin bars.

The restaurant Mazel Tov is located merely 7 minutes' walk from the apartment. Szovetseg utca bus stop is next door to the apartment, and Blaha Lujza Square tube station is about a 5-minute walk away.

My favorite restaurant experience on the Pest side was hands-down at Mazel Tov. Mazel Tov is a ruin bar/restaurant, albeit a much more gourmet, high design one. Do not judge a book by its cover here.
