Their Hungarian lunch specials are truly popular in the neighborhood, and they offer Budapest’s best túrógombóc (Hungarian sweet cottage-cheese dumplings).

I can’t tell you how many people have told me about their visit to Getto Gulyas, even years after their trip to Budapest – us included. My favourite Hungarian restaurant is the Gettó Gulyás in Wesselényi street. The food is super tasty for an affordable price, the service is very good and the wine selection is just perfect. I always book a table in advance to secure our seats.
