"Fab beach side restaurant. Plenty of sun loungers, you pay for if you don't order drinks or food throughout the day. The restaurant has an extensive menu. Fab starters, mains and deserts. Good value. Thanks to all. Was so good called back a few days later.

"Antisamos beach is absolutely stunning. We spent the day at Acron, they offer free parking. The sunloungers are very comfortable and are free of charge if you purchase food/drink. The front loungers have a minimum spend of 40 euro per set. The staff here are professional, extremely hard-working and friendly. The beach is pebbly and it's much easier to get in and out of the sea with beach shoes. The sea was calm but does get deep fairly quickly. There is a shower, and clean toilets. We enjoyed coffee and milkshake in the morning, the lunch was outstanding, everything was delicious, the Gyros was the best I've ever had. The fruit salad was very tasty. We felt that it was good value for money, we had a fantastic day here."

"This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Tons of fish as soon as you walk in the water. There are several different rows of chairs to choose from depending on your budget. The workers are all very friendly and transparent about the pricing of the chairs. There was a DJ at the bar playing house music starting at around 3pm both of the days I was there. It was a pleasant volume from the first couple rows of chairs. The food and drinks were tasty. I will say, though, save yourself the headache and order all food and sugary drinks at the bar. Do NOT order from the beach unless you’re a fan of about 20 wasps (yellow jackets) swarming you. The wasps in general are annoying, but they’re everywhere in Greece so the best you can do is to not attract more of them. They will sting you if you swat at them. An alternative is to make a peace offering of something sweet and some meat and place it the next table over so they leave you alone."

We thought Acron was the nicest beach bar in all of Kefalonia. Not only do you lie here on beach beds with lovely thick cushions on Antisamos Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You can also eat here both in your bed and at the table, delicious dishes for a fair price.

The beaches on Kefalonia are quite diverse, and some of them on the island are too rocky for my taste. But Antisamos is a great place to spend the day swimming. I recommend checking out Acron Beach Club, which has a chic Mykonos vibe – but at 1/10th of the price!
