"If you find yourself driving towards Ancient Olympia from the direction of Kyparissia, stop by Barba Yanni at Luvro village just after Vassilaki, for a hearty traditional "Ileian" greek experience.
We ordered interesting fusioned mixed seasonal leaf salad, divine tzatziki sauce, authentic feta cheese, granny's wild "horta" pie (ok not handmade fylo pastry, but the filling made us forget the minor detail) roast whole pork (gournopùla) melting on the bone, excellent local roast "fournou" tatties, and added soutzoukakia on a nice bed of rice.
Add the wonderful house wine, the quaint ambience and the adorable auntie serving... what else to ask for? Efharistoume ke tha xanarthoume. Bravo!"
