"Was first here in 2016 (when Melitini was just 2 years old) recommended by a local and the sunset view/ ambience, food and service collectively made it the BEST meal of my life, more than any Michelin-starred restaurant I've experienced from Japan to Europe to native Singapore.
Brought my mum here in 2019 and my partner now in 2025, and it still feels magical every time. Reserve a table on the second-floor terrace!
Unassuming and away from the touristy spots along the caldera, Melitini is truly a well-hidden gem I would recommend as THE GO-TO RESTAURANT in Santorini. And it's hard to believe how EVERY dish is just so good...
The founder and owner, Takis (who is still as hands-on as ever), and the lovely waitor, Athanasios, continue to uphold Melitini's excellent service standards. Their philosophy of not having social media influencers or commission-based representatives ensures reasonable prices and truthful reviews vis-a-vis other restaurants on the island as one can expect of any popular holiday destination.

The food was fresh, delicious, and authentically Greek — everything we tried was full of flavor. The local wine was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the view was absolutely stunning.
