"Amazing place to be, the view is stunning, on terrace was self-service, which is absolutely ok. Super wide range of drinks and the food was also very delicious! We had the dish with the asparagus and schnitzel - I can very recommend to try it out in the spring season, it’s super fresh, juicy and the sauce hollandaise was self made and very tasty. I loved the decoration of the place, it reminded me about a lodge in the alps in skiing region. The price was absolutely fine, considering the best view, delicious food and lovely location decorations. I definitely can recommend this place - I would say, it’s kind of a “hidden gem 💎 “ in Würzburg"

"I booked this restaurant months in advance because it is one restaurant with a view in Würzburg I haven’t been to. The Google directions direct you the back of the restaurant which has no access to the restaurant. You have to go around, park and then walk to the restaurant. It took us half an hour to find the right location after asking the locals.
Once we arrived, the view from the restaurant is great. For appetizer, I had the bratwurst and a flatbread. The flatbread is great, the bratwurst is quite standard. As an entree, I had the original schnitzel and it is a huge portion. However, the food tasted pretty average. Their wine list is great, definitely worth visiting.
I do not recommend this restaurant if you are handicapped or a foreigner. They have almost no access to the restaurant for handicapped people. Furthermore, they also don’t accept any other credit or debit cards that are not German. Fortunately, we had a German person in our group and I have no clue how we would have paid if we didn’t."

"Two good things. Stunning views and great summer cocktails. However the food was extremely slow (COVID staffing issues I’m guessing) and choice for vegetarian with no onion and garlic was just salad and chips. So personally 3 stars for the food but getting extra star for the atmosphere and views.
Highly recommend walking the path from the river up to the restaurant that takes you past the church."
