"We stopped in here without a reservation to get a bite in Würzburg. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. At first, the inner dinning area was not full but after 30 minutes all tables were occupied. We were greated with a free secco or mixed drink of choice. Then we got a complimentary "gruss from the kitchen" which was bread and homemade "frischkäse". We were
already full from the Aperitif and free bread with spread. Our burgers were okay and value for money was okay. Dessert was delicious and well presented. Would recommend if you need to eat somewhere on the riverside without a reservation"

"We ordered steak and burgers for mains, would think/hope it being a steak restaurant this would be their speciality…..
2 steaks arrived at the table and were barely warm.
There was then a long wait for the other 3 mains for the table, and the sides.
When the remainder of the food did finally arrive it was all barely warm; the jacket potato was actually fridge cold, so was returned.
The coleslaw was sour (off).
All three steaks were served on chipped plates; for a bill of over 200 euro, chipped crockery is hardly what would be expected.
Service was ok; one excellent and attentive server, but stretched and other staff not really doing much."

"We ordered the dry aged burger, chateaubriand, truffle mash, mushrooms, and veggies.
Pros: beautiful views on the river, they gave us and other tables complimentary prosecco and bruschetta.
The Châteaubriand was well flavored and tender.
Cons: It was a pretty pricy meal.
The burger was a miss, with limp, anemic, bacon, and over sauced mayo aioli. Also why was the cheese not melted on the burger.
The mushrooms were seasoned with cinnamon??? Such a strange flavor pairing. The wait times for service can be longer because it's a busy restaurant."
