What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wirtshaus Zur Glocke offers a traditional German dining experience with hearty classics and a charming ambiance, particularly noted for its historic cellar. While many praise the cozy atmosphere and authentic cuisine, some reviews highlight significant issues with slow or inattentive service, leading to long wait times for ordering and payment.
"We got a huge table only for us, this was a good thing since our kids are always playful and need space. The waiters were cordial, the waiting time wasn't long and I loved the atmosphere. The serving of the goulash soup that I ordered was huge (am still full 2hrs later!)"

"Totally not worth the visit. I don't know how they got above 4 stars. There is lack of service, but ample attitude from the middle aged blonde. Food is eatable at best, definitely not worth the 25 to 30 Euro per dish.
The men servers were okay but constantly had to flag them down.
My recommendation is to go elsewhere."
