What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
CULINA offers an authentic Sardinian dining experience with high-quality ingredients and a unique menu. Reviewers praise the exceptional bread, house-made butter, and delightful desserts like creme brûlée. The natural wine selection is also a highlight. However, some find the dishes to be overpriced for the portion sizes, and a few combinations of ingredients have been noted as not quite fitting.
"My husband and I ate here on a Thursday evening. We got there a bit early for our reservation, but it appeared to be a bit slow and we were seated right away. Dining space is intimate enough for a date spot but still casual enough for jeans and a nice sweater.
The menu is not is in English, however our waitress was very helpful and Google translate did a good job translating for us. We started with the bread and olive oil which was delicious and perfect for two people. The bread was soft inside but with a good crust. We also ordered the red and white wine recommended on the menu - it was good, nothing particularly special in terms of flavor, but we are wine novices. My husband ordered the Tagliatelle with goose? (unsure if that is correct due to translation) meat sauce and I ordered the beef (steak) and mushrooms. My husband enjoyed his pasta, and I enjoyed my steak - it was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and came with great accompaniments. The sides were mushrooms, couscous, and potato on a bed of asparagus. We ended with a wonderful creme brûlée - it was Madagascar Vanilla that was delicious.
From the website, the menu rotates and changes, and we found what we ordered to be wonderful. Prices were certainly reasonable. The service was great as well. If we were locals, we’d certainly come back for another date night. Great dinner spot tucked into what appears to be a more suburban area of Nürnberg!"

"Totally overpriced for the quality and quantity you get. The combination of ingredients did not fit all. Service was friendly and attentive. Location is nice! But due to the dissatisfying food, i would not recommend to eat there. It still hurts paying over 120EUR for that! PS: why is there Pomelo in every dish?"

"Really lovely restaurant outside the city centre
The menu is totally different to anything else to Nuremberg, in a great way!
The food is super high quality and is presented beautifully and is complemented by the large offer of natural wines.
Service was lovely, friendly and helpful.
It was a bit quiet for a Saturday night which is the nature of being further out from the center, but depending on what you want from your evening, this was not an issue."
