What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mucki & Floyd is lauded for its delicious brunch options, particularly the Shakshuka and avocado toast, and its incredible homemade cakes, especially the Schoko Bussis. The charming, vintage atmosphere and the warm, friendly service from the owner and staff contribute to a cozy and welcoming experience. However, the intimate size means limited privacy, and some reviews mention occasional service delays.
"I had breakfast here. Good food and very friendly service.
I had Shakshuka 4/5 (I usually prefer my shakshuka with runny eggs, and with fresh greens, nevertheless it is still very good 👍), some nice home made desert with nuts, cherry and chocolate 5/5, and tea (5/5).
Recommend!"

"Beautiful Café with a very cozy interior and interesting details wherever you look, specially in the back room.
Despite it being very busy, the staff were so warm and helpful and did their best to accomodate us.
And the owner Mucki is such a lovely lady! She's funny, friendly and generally a laid back person.. we enjoyed talking to her and getting advice on their amazing cakes.
I had the avocado/hummus toast and it was so fresh and tasty (also very reasonably priced compared to other places where the prices soared). The Schoko Bussis were so so good, chewy with a little crunch and super chocolatey without being too sweet..we took a few for the road.
Will definitely be back!"

"Very cute Café with a small but very good menu. We opted for the chocolate pancakes and shakshuka and really loved both. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is, that the place is fairly small, resulting in very little space between you and whoever is sitting around you, especially on the weekend. We didn’t mind as it adds to the overall atmosphere, however, keep in mind that you won’t have loads of privacy."

Great Cafes In Munich That You Must Visit
The other “favourite” place we visited – besides Man Versus Machine – was Mucki & Floyd. Located in Glockenbachviertel close to the Museumsinsel and just south of the area where you find cafes like Man Versus Machine, Mucki & Floyd is definitely what we call a “hidden gem” (for Munich visitors). You walk up not knowing what to expect from the few chairs outside on the sidewalk.
