Reviews Summary

FALCO The! Heavenly Bar offers a sophisticated dining experience with stunning city views and creative haute cuisine. While many praise the exceptional food, inventive cocktails, and attentive service, some find the dishes overly complex or sour, and the price point high. The atmosphere can be polarizing, with some enjoying the vibrant bar scene and others preferring a more subdued dining experience.

"The question of whether we should go in there didn't arise from the start because when I looked at the floor with my eyes I saw that I was wearing my Gucci pants. With these pants I'm always in a spending mood. So we walked past prominent rascals like Jg Pa up to the top floor and immersed ourselves in the world above Leipzig. There were cocktails that I hadn't even heard of in the land of milk and honey. A professional, disciplined, serious bartender mixed me a great tasting Mint Julep. Unfortunately he was out of fun and certainly couldn't do as much with my flippant comments as I could with his delicious drink..."

"We visited the restaurant in 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 Hat Restaurant but unfortunately it closed. We returned to the "Heavenly" bar but unfortunately other than the view, the uniqueness, the ambience, the Falcons... have all been replaced by a disinterested, soulless, employee that seems to have made it to the top floor by lottery rather than talent or personality.

Obnoxiously loud music and lack of any atmosphere meant we spent several minutes only before deciding to adjourn to the Lobby Bar where we enjoyed excellent service, quiet background music and a nice selection of drinks."

"WHAT A NIGHT !

Phantastic Food / 5 course
Delicious cocktails / try the one with rum Flor de Caña
Wonderful wines / thx to the sommelier
The dessert was not of my taste - but besides: 👌

Pls go there and enjoy the stunning view and the incredible hospitality & communication between the owner / the team & the bar manager Lars ♻️☀️🤝

Thank you very much!

Check it out (reservation is a must!) when you are in the area"

Michelin gives a star to two Leipzig restaurants: The Falco, which is on the top floor of the Westin and has panoramic city views (341-988-2727; entrées, $32-$88), and The Stadtpfeiffer, attached to the Gewandhaus and a favorite of well-heeled music lovers (8 Augustusplatz; 341-217-8920; prix fixes, $118-$144). The food is sophisticated but affordable at Stelzenhaus, a minimally decorated place overlooking a canal in Connewitz, with an open terrace (65 Weissenfelser Strasse; 341-492-4445; entrées, $17-$33).

For more than a decade Falco has been headed by the well-known chef Peter Maria Schnurr, whose creativity and eagerness to experiment contributed to the fact that the restaurant in the city center has already been awarded with two Michelin stars. Moreover, it is rightfully considered one of the best and most fashionable places for gastronomers not only in the Free State of Saxony, but also in the whole Germany. The secret of his popularity, however, is not just his famous boss.
