"Innovative, high-quality, fresh, creative food. This is my favorite in Garmisch! The menu changes every two to four weeks and they always have new and surprising dishes each time it changes. Meals always include a trio of spreads to try on bread while you wait for your first course. They are usually something like olive oil, salt with coffee and hot pepper flakes and a house-made frischekase spread. The ambiance is warm and inviting with lots of candles and nice decorations. I recommend eating outside if you can, sitting on their terrace under twinkle lights with candles and lovely centerpieces makes for a special meal."

"Something different than the typical German food. I love German food specially from Bayern. But the food here was also no less. We had good food and beer. They give 3 dips for the bread as starter. The one with mango flavor was amazing. We had ordered salad and some starters for sharing. The one in the photo was tasty. One star less as we found it a bit pricey. Maybe because they won the Mein Lokal dein Lokal Title."
