"There was a cigarette butt in our pizza. That is quite simply unacceptable. The pizza in question was replaced by the server, but still billed. Shame, since otherwise everything is fine. Better hygiene must be enforced in the kitchen.
In response to the owner: the was no confusion. we were three people, we told the waiter who appologized and brought us another flamkuchen. This must have been about two years ago. For some reason, the review was left "pending" before being posted. I'm sure it was an unfortunate accident, since the other times I've been there everything was fine. However, it was serious enough to leave a very bad impression."

"One of my favorite cafe's in Freiburg, Cafe Ruef has a nice mixture of indoor/outdoor seating and pastries, along with freshly -baked bread and coffee. I stayed at a hostel nearby and found it to be the best place to spend an early morning before the caffeine kicks in."
